Peepers for Teachers | Lincoln Elementary School
Here at Peepers, we pride ourselves on doing our part to give back to the community. One of our primary initiatives is Peepers for Teachers. Our team works closely with the Unity Foundation to aid our local schools and donate time, supplies, and monetary contributions. To date, we've donated $29,700 to local schools!
Earlier this year, a handful of our team members paid a special visit to Lincoln Elementary School in La Porte, Indiana to surprise the teachers with a gift! Every Lincoln teacher received a hand-selected pair based on their reading needs and style preferences.
In addition to the curated collection for all the teachers, Lincoln Elementary School also received a check for $1,500 to invest in necessities for the school. Principal Schable provided an update on the elementary school's plans for the donation: "As you know, our school hopes to serve our families and the community to build a better tomorrow for all of our students. The funds from Peepers will be very helpful in assisting us to reach our current goals of educating our school community by means of purchasing books for our library and providing professional development to our teachers."
The Peepers for Teachers initiative is one that is close to our hearts, and we love seeing the positive changes unfolding in our community, more so than ever during these current hardships and challenges that schools and teachers are facing.
